The Christmas season of 2007 spewed a slew of awesome TV commercials by giants from the local food industry. One of the most notable TV commercials I remember was Chowking’s Pasko Na commercial where a father and son would meet for the first time on Christmas Day. There’s also this Jollibee TVC where a lonely toll booth attendant (who was working on Christmas Day) was brought some dinner by his family. I know this may be cheesy and all but I do find these TVCs very heart warming. I actually missed my dad the first time I got to watch the former. I wonder if this year’s set of TVCs would match or surpass last year’s. I’m hoping they come up with even better TVCs. It seems the best formula is to get a good storyline that involves food + good opm song + good acting = 100% WIN. (more…)
