I was pretty much bummed with what I’ll do on a Friday night. I was just sitting there in my office chair, thinking that I’d spend another Friday night working my ass off and wait for the Banchetto to open. Good thing my sisters were up for watching Monsters Vs Aliens. And if you still haven’t watched it, you should go check out cinema schedules already and book yourselves some tickets. This movie really is funny awesome. It’s probably one of the few 3D animated movies that has tickled my funny bone since Finding Nemo.
The lines, the slapsticks, the antics and all the funny hulabaloo will be enough to rile you laughing your hearts out from start to finish. I mean, it’s really a kid’s movie but I think it’s the adults who would appreciate the punchlines better. Starring Reese Weatherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnet, Kiefer Sutherland and Stephen Colbert. Wow! That’s like putting together an awesome team of superheroes with Elle Woods, Zack Brown, Dr. House and Jack Bauer! Now what alien invasion could possibly go against that? (more…)
The Twilight the move will be officially showing in the big screens tomorrow, November 25 here in the Philippines. Thousands of Twilight fans are expected to fill the theatres to watch the much awaited Twilight movie. Starring Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter, The Summer House) as the mysterious vampire Edward Cullens and Kristen Stewart (Panic Room, Jumper) as the lovely Bella Swan. It is expected to hit (and top) box office charts similar to the successful Harry Potter series and Spider Man series. I just hope the numbers will prove the speculations are right.
